Interactive light (coffee) table
Automagic Zen garden
Nick, Ken and Rob have begun brainstorming on a conceptual table that acts similarly to an Etch-A-Sketch. A motor driven X-Y coordinate magnet mounted below a Plexiglass surface covered with sand, will drag a steel ball through the sand to draw images. An eccentric motor will occaisionally vibrate the sand back to a flat surface for the next drawing. The servo motors will be code driven.
